Covance Busted in Europe
In 2003, the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) placed an investigator in Covance's Münster, Germany, laboratory for five months, where the same atrocities as those we found in Vienna, Virginia, were documented!
Covance pressured the BUAV's Internet provider until it agreed to refuse to carry the photographs or the video from the BUAV's investigations. The matter is still in the courts, but you can see the video on PETA's Web site and see why Covance pushed so hard to get it taken down!
Oddly enough, when PETA's investigator was hired to work in the Vienna, Virginia, Covance primate laboratory, the company played the Münster, Germany, tape for her and made excuses for the horrendous treatment of the monkeys in that facility!
